My work is not limited to the most common pets (dogs, cats, horses, birds). I can also draw any other animal, such as ferrets, iguanas, turtles, mice, and fish. You provide the photos, and I’ll provide the drawing!

For pet owners who live in the St. Petersburg area of Florida, I can draw pets from life as well as from photographs; I enjoy meeting both the people and the animals. An animal does not have to sit still, for me to create the portrait.

My drawings are done on high quality artist's drawing paper in a variety of sizes. I work with professional drawing pencils, either full color or single color (usually black). After each portrait is finished, it is sprayed with an art fixative to protect it. See the section on "Sizes and Prices" for more information.

I normally do not draw backgrounds, preferring to let all the attention be on the animal. I also do not frame my pictures, so as not to risk damage from broken glass during shipment.
